About Matthew
A longtime Hudson Valley weekender from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, first landing in the Ulster County Catskills in 2002, Matthew and his partner later moved into an 1890 farmhouse on a bucolic country road in Columbia County in 2018, whose renovation is seemingly never ending, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
After spending 25+ years building a successful marketing and communications agency, working with lifestyle and design brands including Hermès, Byredo, Room & Board, Carrier and Company Interior Design, John Robshaw textiles and many others, Matthew exited Manhattan and his longtime career to pursue a new chapter living in his beloved Hudson Valley and dive into his other passion, real estate. By incorporating his exceptional client service skills and an eye for detail, he is excited to find others their idyllic Hudson Valley escape. A member of the Columbia County Historical Society, Matthew never tires of all the area has to offer and is constantly inspired by its exquisite nature and love of community, history and preservation.
Matthew Snyder graduated from Boston University where he studied Journalism and Communications.
