About May Ling
May Ling inherits a legacy of tenacious and shrewd entrepreneurship from her mother, an immigrant who built a small restaurant and real estate empire in Southwest Missouri. Her mom taught her that opportunities come to those who plan, are patient, and fearless when it is time to execute.
May Ling has built on this legacy, most recently spending several years as an agent for a group of importing companies who supplied a range of domestic industries. While exploring the possibility of starting her own importing company, May Ling connected with a boutique law firm; through this collaboration May Ling realized that the real opportunity was in real estate. She joined the law firm as a consultant and learned the ins-and-outs of the legal side of real estate investing.
She continues to help global clients protect their assets, review and negotiate contracts, and invest in real estate. In order to take this passion to the next level May Ling became a licensed salesperson and has joined the Horne Team where her book includes residential and commercial listings and clients. This new venture allows May Ling to deepen her commitment to clients seeking strategic, long-term investments in New York's dynamic real estate market. May Ling is noted for her laser focus, fine attention to detail, ability to seamlessly juggle many moving pieces, integrity, and openness.
