When I moved to Charlotte in 1999 I immediately fell in love with the city, the lifestyle, and the people. That love has only grown in my 26 years in the city. My excitement about the neighborhoods and the quality of life in and around Charlotte led me to the Reside Realty Team at Compass and a career in real estate. Then, during the 2020 lockdown, I began to explore the Carolina coast and discovered Debordieu located near Historic Georgetown, SC and Pawley’s Island. I am now fortunate to divide my time between two beautiful locations and be able to help others find their dream homes in Charlotte and at the Beach! Prior to moving to Charlotte, I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Hamilton College in upstate New York. Following a year of volunteering with Americorps, I completed a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University in Boston, where I taught until moving to Charlotte. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 and immediately felt at home. As a mom of 4 children, ages 26, 23, 22, and 19, I have valuable knowledge and experience in the schools and various sports programs in the area. Through affiliations with Carmel Country Club, Providence Country Club, Charlotte Latin School, and several sports clubs, I have gotten to know competitive sports and extracurricular arts programs in the area. (I can also offer preferred carpool routes from almost any direction!)

 

Always a professional sports fan, I am also a regular at Pure Barre and an avid hiker and runner. I can often be found fundraising for the Extreme Hike for a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis and the Isabella Santos Foundation. My family and I love to travel and along the way, I enjoy being the family photographer. Personally, over the years, I have built a custom home and renovated several older homes both in Charlotte and in Debordieu. My kids would probably tell you I am an HGTV addict. In the course of my renovations and updates, I have enjoyed meeting and working with many of the finest contractors Charlotte and the SC Coast have to offer.
