It’s easy to sell something when you have an innate passion for it. For Megan, it’s this community and real estate. Megan has called Truckee & Tahoe her home sweet home for more than 30 years, and the nostalgia runs deep now watching her own children grow up and flourish in the place that shaped her love of the outdoors and appreciation of tight-knit community. 

Megan is a board member for the Excellence in Education Foundation, and an avid supporter of all things Truckee-Tahoe, especially female and locally owned businesses. It’s why so many of Megan’s clients think of her as their go-to for all things local: like a day-in-the-life itinerary to explore the area, or the plug on the best beaches, hikes, where to eat, neighborhoods and homes. Megan’s clients are also what fuels her passion of building valuable relationships.

With both parents in the real estate industry, Megan was raised in this business. Now, a licensed  agent for nearly 20 years, she enjoys the emerging technology of Compass and collaboration amongst her True North team. Megan has built her career on customer service and solid client connections with a sales track record to prove it. Megan has found lasting friendships with her clients; the bonds that have emerged are what keep Megan motivated. Her relationships extend beyond the home closing process, a true testament to her repeat clients and referral business. Walking alongside people who are actualizing their dreams of a mountain lifestyle and solidifying their own place in the Truckee-Tahoe community bring Megan true joy. Today, Megan specializes in residential buying and selling with an emphasis on finding the perfect property for her clients to call their home, or home-away-from-home.  

Along with her wife, Emily, Megan spends a good chunk of her time immersed in her 3 kids busy schedules – between baseball (Colby is on the 18U Admirals National and Truckee High Baseball teams), skiing, golf and lacrosse (Bennett is on the Sugar Bowl Freeride Team), dance recitals and pony rides (Quinn is always center stage), she is always on the go.  But busy schedules never rule out fun! All of Megan’s down time is dedicated to the outdoors or spent on the boat on Lake Tahoe reinforcing all the reasons Truckee-Tahoe is her home.
