About Megan
I'm Megan Sullivan, a Chicago real estate broker with Compass, a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®), and the founder of The Divorce Collab. I help divorcing homeowners understand their choices for the marital home and coordinate the real estate questions with their professional team.

A home decision can involve market value, loan questions, sale preparation, estimated proceeds and timing, often while people are managing a great deal of change. When engaged to help both owners sell, I establish a balanced communication process and explain my real estate recommendations. Legal rights, lending decisions and tax advice stay with the appropriately qualified professionals.

My own divorce after a decade as a stay-at-home mom helped shape this work. I know why practical information and a manageable next step matter. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eastern Illinois University and received Rookie of the Year recognition in 2020.

I've lived on Chicago's North Side for more than 25 years and raised my three children here. I help local buyers and sellers as well, including first-time buyers, move-up buyers and downsizers. My work takes me through Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Roscoe Village, North Center, Lincoln Square and Ravenswood.

My approach is straightforward: explain the options, pay attention to the details and help people make an informed decision without pressure.
