About Meghan
Meghan Johnson, a native Houstonian, has 10+ years of combined real estate and marketing experience. Prior to residential, Meghan worked in commercial real estate for Colliers International, solving real estate needs of both local and national companies. Meghan’s primary focus was representing office occupiers. She worked for clients including Microsoft/Azure, and was affiliated with some of the top brokers in the country. That experience taught Meghan the value of strong relationships, excellent customer service, and negotiating skills. “I connect with clients by exhibiting a positive attitude and being an active listener. I find this approach enhances my relationship with clients and helps me guide them to their preferred choice in less time; I believe clients value that.”
Houston's traditional neighborhoods are Meghan’s area of focus, particularly Afton Oaks, Bellaire, Briargrove, Tanglewood, Memorial, Highland Village, River Oaks, West University, Montrose, and The Heights. She works with clients across ages and life stages, from first-time buyers to empty-nesters looking to downsize, spanning all price ranges.
Meghan cares deeply about the Houston community. She has served on the Community Board of Rescue Houston and is an avid supporter of the organization, which fights against human trafficking and provides immediate rescue and stabilization to victims.
Meghan attended St. Francis Episcopal Day School and Episcopal High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business with a minor in communication studies at Louisiana State University. She and her family have organized and spent many tailgates outside of Death Valley. Meghan grew up in Afton Oaks where her parents lived for 30+ years and where she now resides with her own family. Accordingly, she knows the value of a neighborhood community.
Meghan and her husband, an investment banker, enjoy spending time with their family and friends, and she loves golfing, running, LSU football and being outdoors.
