Melanie Kozak has been in the real estate and relocation industries since 1979 and holds her California Real Estate Broker's License. In addition to working with many buyers and sellers moving locally, she also has extensive experience in facilitating the buying and selling process for relocating executives and their families moving both domestically and internationally.
Melanie's relocation career includes working as a consultant in destination services, inpatriate services, group moves, managing corporate inventory and corporate accounts and relocation team training. She also earned her Corporate Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from the nationally recognized Employee Relocation Council. Her real estate sales career includes working with buyers and sellers over a wide geographic area and with all types of properties and situations.
Having years of real estate sales experience and extensive knowledge of our local real estate market gives Melanie insight in guiding buyers transferring into or out of the East Bay Area. She is committed to giving the highest quality service to her clients and places great value on past clients being her best advocates. Being sensitive to and addressing their specific needs, close communication with her clients, as well as her attention to detail and continual follow-up throughout the selling and buying processes, have been key to her client satisfaction.
Melanie has lived, worked and studied in Europe and is fluent in French. This, along with her educational background from East Carolina University in psychology and international studies, has been extremely beneficial in working with international buyers and sellers. She resides in Walnut Creek with her husband and two children and has been actively involved with the local schools and many community functions. When she is not selling real estate, Melanie enjoys cooking and entertaining her friends and clients, as well as traveling with her husband and kids.
