My husband and I decided that we wanted to get a place in St. Pete Beach to get away from the cold winters in the Midwest. We were looking at homes and realized if we wanted to be on the water, a Condominium was what we could afford. We were ready to put a contract in on the first one we saw but changed our minds as we were about to sign (did not have a realtor at that time) and Melinda was there as part of the transaction. We were so lucky as Melinda understood our concerns that day and without a plan, took us to look at three more units. Within that short time, she figured out who we were and what would work for us and took us to the one that felt right. We put in a contract and Melinda helped us every step. We knew no one in the area and she helped guide us through everything. Even after we closed Melinda helped with questions months later. While we were at our place in St. Pete Beach we decided this was where we wanted to be and would not move back to the Midwest. We decided since we would be there full time it would be nice to buy a unit in our building that was on an upper floor and more updated. Melinda helped us navigate the units that came up for sale, and again we found just what we wanted and put our current unit on the market. With Melinda's help our unit had a contract for well over asking price within 3 days. There is a lot of emotion that goes on during the process of buying and selling and Melinda was kind and caring throughout. For reasons I won't go in to, just a few days before closing on the new unit we had to cancel. It was a very challenging time, and again, Melinda was there, helping, caring and getting me through. The first unit was sold but there was no purchase at that time. After a few months I decided that it was time to try again as I wanted to purchase another Condo. Melinda worked with me, I saw countless units through zoom and in person and almost put in contracts on more than one occasion, but kept stopping at the last moment. I believe many realtors would have stopped answering my calls and texts, but Melinda always came through with kindness and laughter. After nine months and countless units (and did I mention that she has many clients, is always busy, but never makes you feel that there is anyone she's working with but you), the perfect one was found having everything I needed within budget. This wasn't an easy transaction but she was amazing, helped when I was panicking at the closing and was nothing but supportive throughout. She even helped remove items after the closing that shouldn't have been left. I know this is a long review but it's hard to get a full picture without some background.
