Melissa Clyatt is a real estate broker with the GQ Home Team at Compass, serving buyers and sellers throughout the South Sound and surrounding communities. With more than a decade of service in the U.S. Army, Melissa brings a strong background in leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving to her work in real estate.
As a former service member and a current military spouse, Melissa has experienced military moves from more than one perspective. She understands that relocating is rarely as simple as finding a house. It can mean learning a new community, balancing timelines, navigating financing, coordinating a move, and trying to make the right decision for your family, sometimes from hundreds or thousands of miles away. That firsthand experience is especially valuable when working with military families relocating to or from the JBLM area.
Melissa believes buying or selling a home should feel personal, not transactional. She takes the time to understand what matters to her clients, explain their options clearly, and make sure they feel comfortable asking questions throughout the process. Her approach is organized and detail-oriented without losing the personal connection that makes a great client experience. Whether working with a first-time buyer, a growing family looking for more space, a military family navigating a PCS, or a homeowner preparing to sell, Melissa's goal is to make the process feel clear, manageable, and well supported.
Melissa is accustomed to working in fast-moving environments, adapting when circumstances change, and keeping sight of the bigger picture while managing the details along the way. She brings that same level of preparation and follow-through to her clients, along with the resources, technology, and support of Compass and the GQ Home Team.
Outside of real estate, Melissa is a wife and mom of three who enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the Pacific Northwest. Having built a life in the South Sound herself, she appreciates how much this area has to offer and enjoys helping others find the community and home that fit the life they are building.
