About Melissa
Melissa Moody has been serving the Houston area since 2020. Her love for real estate is driven by her desire to help clients find their dream homes and maximize their wealth through equity. She is particularly drawn to Houston's diverse business communities, excellent schools, and first class services, which enrich her client interactions.
Her journey from a high school teacher in Indianapolis to real estate is marked by her academic accomplishments, including a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master's Degree in Teaching. Her experience in education has honed her ability to anticipate client needs and create an exceptional client experience. She was named Rookie of the Year and consistently shows an unwavering commitment to her clients and her community.
Melissa founded and was President of the Fulbrook Force Swim Team from 2019-2022, she serves on the Board of The Ballard House, Katy, 2022-current, she served on the Board of the National Charity League - Brazos Belles 2024-2025, and she sponsors and volunteers with community organizations and local charities, including but not limited to Fulbrook Force Swim Team, Morgan Elementary, Sire Therapeutic Horsemanship, Lunches of Love, Attack Poverty, Fulshear High School Band Boosters, Society Prosper, and The Ballard House, Katy.
Outside of work and volunteering, Melissa enjoys painting, Pilates, hosting the biggest private car show in Texas, "RetroFest West", and traveling, while being a devoted wife and mother to four children, ages 11-15. Her involvement in her kids' sports and activities highlights her strong family values and commitment to the community.
