About Melissa
Melissa Mysing grew up in a family home built in Tchefuncta Estates in 1969, where she became part of a unique and wonderful community. She first became licensed in real estate in 1983 while assisting her mother, Marion Williams—a top producer —and commuting to Southeastern Louisiana University. After graduating with a major in accounting and a minor in marketing, she was recruited by Ernst & Young, the largest accounting firm in the world, even before graduation. In subsequent years, Melissa founded her own accounting firm in Covington—Melissa W. Mysing, C.P.A., LLC—with offices in Northpark. Her over 20 years of tax practice perfectly complement her real estate transactions in the growing St. Tammany Parish market.

Her sister, Meg Williams, also licensed, has worked with her in the  for a number of years.  Together, the two have pooled their resources to form a professional real estate group specializing in tax-free exchanges, business valuations, and investment properties with depreciation basis.

Melissa’s personal passions include horses;  spending time with her animals, and experimenting with growing vegetables and fruit trees. Melissa remains active in the local equestrian community,
