About Melissa
To say Real Estate is my life is an understatement! I was born into a local Real Estate family and raised on the Monterey Peninsula. My summer and after school jobs as a teen were spent working for our local Real Estate Association or in a Real Estate Brokerage office. Growing up in the Real Estate market, I learned to appreciate the dedication and ethics required to assist clients in reaching their homeownership goals. I've witnessed the grit and determination it takes to succeed in Real Estate by providing the very best support for clients.

I am a trusted Real Estate professional with 20+ years of personal and professional Real Estate experience and knowledge. My goal is to bring confidence to the Real Estate process. Most importantly by understanding the nuances of the niche markets.

Beginning my career in the Real Estate field, I spent a decade in the mortgage lending industry. In 2009, when the housing market crashed, I realized a void in the sales process that was needed to assist homeowners who were upside down on their homes. At that time I co-founded a short sale negotiating company. Leveraging this experience as a skilled short sale negotiator and successful business manager, I then returned to the sales side of real estate.

I believe clear and consistent communication is key to a successful transaction. I am known for outstanding client support, high tech marketing techniques and personal touches while keeping my client's best interest at heart.

I reside in beautiful Carmel Valley with my husband and two children. We are active community members, avid travelers and enjoy spending time outdoors in the California sunshine. In my need to continue to grow and learn, I am currently training to run the Big Sur International Marathon.
