About Melissa
A lifelong Angeleno, Melissa Shahin has been fortunate to call many of Los Angeles’ vibrant neighborhoods home. Her deep knowledge of the city, combined with a strong work ethic and thoughtful approach to client service, allows her to guide clients with confidence as they navigate one of life’s most meaningful investments.
Melissa serves as the Managing Director of The Local Real Estate Group, where she oversees team operations and the day-to-day functioning of the business. She also remains actively involved in real estate sales and has worked on a variety of home renovation projects throughout her career, developing a strong appreciation for architecture and design and for seeing the potential in each property.
Her background in management, along with years of experience performing and teaching dance, has shaped her ability to work well under pressure, solve problems creatively, and deliver a thoughtful, highly attentive experience to every client she serves.
Outside of real estate, Melissa enjoys adventuring with her son and husband, hiking trails whenever she can, visiting art museums, returning to her love of dance, and capturing moments through photography.
