A graduate of U.C.Irvine, Melissa is a retired Chief Lifeguard of Orange County's State Beaches and competitor for the California State Lifeguard surf racing team around the world. Melissa is a native of Newport Beach and enjoys sharing her passion and market knowledge for Southern California's beautiful beach communities. As a homeowner herself, she has served as a board member of Orange County Association of RealtorsĀ® Local Government Relations South County, an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary, and founder of Toys for Troops, an annual fundraiser to benefit the children of deployed Marines from Camp Pendleton over the holiday season. She is also a nationally certified Relocation Professional. Melissa is married to her husband Carsten, who is a 3 combat tour Marine Corps Veteran and now a firefighter for the City of Long Beach. They have 2 daughters, Chloe and Sienna.
