Melissa Tam

Melissa is a native of Hong Kong and was educated in Singapore. She spent a stint in Spain studying Spanish and culinary arts in Toronto, and has also lived in several countries in Asia, including China and Taiwan. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Melissa was a senior executive at an international executive search firm based out in Hong Kong. She has extensive experience working with professionals in the financial services and technology Industries and this has given her the ability to add value to her clients during the process of buying or selling a home. Her experience as an executive recruiter has prepared her to listen attentively to the needs of her clients, conduct a thorough and comprehensive search for homes that match her clients’ needs. 

Prior to making New York City her home, Melissa has lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, China, Toronto, Connecticut, Ohio and California. She is highly adaptable since she relocated so frequently and she is particularly good at working with international buyers, by understanding their needs and requirements. Melissa currently resides in Carnegie Hill with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking and listening to podcasts. She is an avid fan of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
