About Melissa
My career in real estate began in my hometown in England in 2005 and Iāve been passionate about properties of all shapes, sizes and historical status ever since! My love for numbers led me to pursue qualifications in Accounting, where I gained invaluable experience working for a non-profit focused on palliative careāan organization I remain dedicated to. At 30, I took a leap of faith and traded a career on ground for an adventure in the skies, becoming a Cabin Crew for an airline in the Middle East. This experience allowed me to explore stunning architecture and learn about culture and traditions across every continent. It also led me to meet my New Yorker husband! In 2020, we made our move to the U.S., bringing our young family and our rescue dogs Maggie and BellaBean. Seizing a real estate opportunity from abroad, I successfully bid on a 100-year-old abandoned cottage in England and managed its structural renovation from over 3,000 miles away. I was thrilled to see it rented within a week of hitting the market!
Iām passionate about the growth of the Triangle and love thinking big while staying rooted in my local community. When Iām not buying, selling, or touring homes, youāll find me in school, eager to learn even more about building and design because itās always evolving. Whether youāre moving to the Triangle area as a current resident, or from thousands of miles away like me, I have the experience and the empathy to guide you professionally.
I look forward to working with you!
