Melissa Young

A native New Yorker, Melissa Rattner Young, graduated the University of Delaware with a degree in Psychology and promptly began a career in executive recruiting and national sales. Melissa was the youngest national sales manager ever hired in Equifax Corporation.  There she learned negotiation and contract expertise. Melissa acted as a liaison for Fortune 500 companies and Credit Bureau, Developing National Credit Marketing campaigns, with clients including Direct TV, First Union bank. 

Quickly learning to combine her interests in real estate, negotiation and networking, she joined Berkshire Hathaway Fox and Roach, promptly earning the “rising star” status as the leading specialist in Luxury Real Estate. 

Currently with Compass Real Estate, the #1 brokerage in sales volume in the U.S and a Fortune 500 company, Melissa has over 20 years of Real Estate experience under her belt, as well as access to the most innovative technology, most resourceful tools, and services to ensure a seamless, stress-free client experience.  

Melissa is also a member of Compass Sports & Entertainment Division, working 170+ top agents across 75+ U.S. markets. She has personally guided 35+ athletes through complex residential real estate transactions nationwide, earning a reputation for confidentiality, strategy, and precision.

In addition, the mother of two children, Melissa consults in aiding and securing filming locations for interviews, documentaries and commercials for NFL Films.  She currently works with several premiere NFL/MLB/NHL players across the country helping them to find their perfect home, sell their existing home, rent or relocate.
