About Melitta

Melitta is a Los Angeles native - raised in the South Bay. She comes to Compass with a wealth of knowledge, business experience, and a passion to help others succeed. Prior to real estate, Melitta served as an experienced leader in healthcare services administration and operations management. With over 16 years of experience, Melitta was, and still is a trailblazer in business development, strategic planning, healthcare policy development, management consulting, risk management, revenue cycle, budgetary, and systems implementation management.

Melitta was both humbled and honored to establish The Elgin Foundation for Wellness, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, in memory of her brother, Elgin Stafford, who lost his battle with mental illness to suicide. Through the foundation, she has given over 20 scholarships to high school students, held wellness symposiums, hosted annual Golf Tournaments at Los Verdes Golf Course and implemented the RISE Mentorship Program to empower young people to have self-love, be kind to others, and discourage bullying. Melitta ultimately hopes to normalize mental health conversations to create safe spaces for healing, eliminate stigma, promote mental health awareness, and prevent suicide.

Melitta earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and a Master of Health Administration degree from USC. When she is not selling homes, she is spending time with her husband and 3 beautiful children and practicing yoga.
