Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Meyer Swanepoel was a professional Rugby player and Real Estate TV Personality that relocated to sunny San Diego.
Before turning his passion for buying and selling Real Estate into his full-time profession, he had an illustrious Rugby career that took him all over the world. Starting at the age of 18, he signed his first professional contract and continued to compete for over a decade ā including a 5 year period in Treviso, Italy where he played for a club owned by fashion giants United Colours of Benetton.
Meyer not only speaks Afrikaans and English but due to his time living in Italy, is fluent in Italian. His love for travel and languages has helped him tremendously in his international Real Estate sales approach.
Post Rugby career, Meyer entered the Real Estate world and immediately flourished. In his first year, he was awarded āNew Agent of the Yearā and closed record sales in all of Cape Town. In his first year in business, Meyer used his competitive nature as a professional athlete to his advantage and became Sales Manager for one of Cape Townās largest brokerages.
Fast forward 5 years to 2018 when Meyer opened the doors to his very own boutique Brokerage, based in the heart of Cape Town, which still flourishes and continues to see some of the biggest sales in the city.
