A South Florida native and Miami-based advisor with Compass, Scot is a member of the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division, where his background is less backstory and more built-in advantage.

Scot pitched professionally for the Oakland Athletics and Detroit Tigers organizations, then took his game international, competing in Venezuela, Taiwan, and Canada before always finding his way back to Miami. "Growing up here, I've had the privilege of watching my city grow into one of the most sought-after destinations for celebrities and sports figures in the world," he says. "That's not lost on me. It drives everything I do."

After hanging up his cleats, Scot moved into sports management with Paragon Sports International, where he negotiated multi-million dollar contracts, secured endorsement and marketing deals, and built the personal brands of more than 50 professional athletes on social media. Along the way, he helped clients buy and rent properties across the country, giving him a real-world foundation in relocation, discretion, and the kind of fast timelines that athletes and entertainers demand.

An entrepreneur at heart, Scot founded Superkix.com, one of the first online sneaker search engines, and ran an MLB blog that ranked among the top outlets in the country. His community involvement has kept him equally visible at home, earning him a spot on Top Chef Miami, a Grand Slam at the Anthony Rizzo Walk-a-thon, and the Toledo Mud Hens' Player of the Year award for community service.
