Michael began his real estate career in Pasadena in 1992. He moved with his family to Palo Alto in 1996 where he began a 20 year association with Alain Pinel Realtors’ Palo Alto office. In 2005 he was named Palo Alto Realtor of the Year and in 2008 he received the Spirit of SILVAR award for his work on the Community Relations Committee. In 2016 he joined Pacific Union’s Palo Alto office and then in 2018 Compass bought Pacific Union to establish its place in the market in Northern California. Michael and his team of professionals work diligently to provide real estate services for all the communities surrounding Stanford University but as he works by referral, he has sold from San Mateo to San Jose and beyond…Monterey, American Canyon, Auburn and even Palm Springs. He has helped over 300 families with their real estate needs for a total volume of over $500M in sales.
Michael was born and raised in Oklahoma City and lived in Louisiana, Texas, San Francisco, NewYork and Los Angeles. He has a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of California through his work and study at the American Conservatory Theatre of San Francisco in the mid-1970's. For over 40 years he has been involved in the entertainment industry as an actor, director and teacher. He continues to work theatrically in the Bay Area whenever his schedule allows. He lives in Menlo Park with his wife of 40+ years. They have two beautiful children, both out of the house and out into the world who have given them four grandchildren, three grandboys and a grandgirl. The "best job I ever had" says Michael
