About Michael
Driven by passion and creativity, Michael Johnson began his accomplished NYC real estate career in 2001. He has ranked in the top tier of sales agents nationwide, is licensed as an Associate Broker, and holds the prestigious Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation. In 2007, Michael formed a partnership with Hayim Nommaz that heightened the excellent service he provides his clients even further. The Johnson & Nommaz Team has achieved an exemplary track record of sales, and as importantly, built their business on an incredibly robust referral and repeat client base.

Representing a domestic and international clientele, they handle a wide array of transactions from rentals in every price range to luxury sales of apartments and townhouses throughout Manhattan. Formerly in advertising with top names like Marvel Comics and Ogilvy & Mather, Michael perfected the arts of client service, attention to detail and analytical thinking, seeing every project through to successful completion as he does in real estate. He also served on the Advisory Council (for ethics and policy) at a prior brokerage and contributed to their philanthropy group, demonstrating his high standards and care for the community.

Born in Chicago and raised in South Florida, Michael moved to New York in 1990 and graduated from Cornell University. Living in NYC since 1995, he’s served on the boards of his current Chelsea condo and former co-op on Lower Fifth Avenue. Michael has sold extensively in both buildings and renovated multiple times, so understands the process and value potential. Outside of work, he enjoys time at his Connecticut home with his partner and Cairn Terrier Henry. His hobbies include boating, water skiing, movies and binge tv, wine, pop culture, and family time.
