Michael Karol

Michael Karol was born and raised in Fort Worth, graduating from Arlington Heights High School in 2005 and later from the University of Mississippi in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in geological studies. Subsequent to a 5 year period as a mineral acquisition specialist working in 7 different states, he began a career in commercial real estate in 2015 with the local, boutique firm Northern Realty Group managed by former Fort Worth Zoning Commission chair (’13 - ‘21), Will Northern. Beginning in 2019, he began working for Christie’s International Real Estate, The ULTERRE group for the next two and a half years. Michael’s primary area of focus is commercial sales & leasing in the greater DFW region specializing in various property types including land, retail, office, industrial, multi- family and net investment property sales & acquisitions.

Michael is also the founder of KRES Property Tax Consulting which represents commercial and residential property owners spanning the entire state of Texas where his focus is to help reduce and stabilize annual property tax expenses in an effort to mitigate the financial burden for taxpayers. He is also a co-founder of the non-profit organization, Fort Worth Abroad whose mission is to raise funding for study aboard scholarships awarded to FWISD graduates by means of donation-based live musical performances and art galleries that showcase local talent while raising awareness for scholarship applicants vying to further their educational goals and world views by way of studying abroad.

Economic development, community engagement and investment education are the primary pillars of his business. He is an active part of the Fort Worth community and it’s affiliates as a board member of various EDC related organizations including East Fort Worth Inc., Grow Southeast, CoAct and also serves on the development review committee of Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. Michael is also the 2021 Chairman of the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtor’s organization, the Society of Commercial Realtors. Awards include Top Commercial Producer in 2021 at Christie's Intl. Real Estate's North Texas Region, Greater Fort Worth Realtor's Realtor Spirit Award in 2019 and Fort Worth, Texas Magazine's Tope Realtors in 2016.
