Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones is a native Austinite, a founding agent of Compass Austin and co-lead of the Grossman & Jones Group, ranked the #4 real estate team in Austin by sales volume by the Austin Business Journal in 2025. Licensed since 2005, she has spent more than 20 years helping buyers and sellers across Greater Austin, and her team has closed more than $1.7 billion in combined career sales.

Michelle has lived in Lakeway for more than 20 years. Her deepest expertise is in Lakeway, Bee Cave, Westlake, Lake Travis, Lake Austin and Lake LBJ, and in golf course communities including The Hills of Lakeway, Flintrock Falls, Spanish Oaks, UT Golf Club and River Place. She is known for waterfront, luxury and one-of-a-kind homes, and her team has represented some of Lake Travis’s most iconic properties. Most of her clients, though, are buying or selling homes at a wide range of prices, and every one gets the same care, marketing and attention to detail.

Michelle and her husband have built a few homes of their own and renovated several more. That experience helps her speak to quality and finishes, and advise sellers on which improvements are worth making before they list.

As a founding member of Compass Austin Luxury Advisors and a member of Austin Luxury Network, Top Agent Network, The Clubhouse and the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division, Michelle connects her clients with off-market listings and qualified buyers across the country. About 90% of her team’s business comes from repeat clients and referrals.

Outside of real estate, Michelle is a longtime volunteer with Austin Smiles, a Central Texas nonprofit that provides surgical care to children born with cleft lip and palate. She serves on its Gala and Development Planning Committees and is a former Co-Chair of the Gala Planning Committee. She lives in Lakeway with her husband and their two sons, who attend Lake Travis ISD. On weekends you’ll find the family wake surfing on Lake Travis, fishing on Lake LBJ or playing golf at The Hills.
