About Michelle
After several years as a leasing agent throughout the city of Chicago, Michelle Loven has joined The Standard Group, the dynamic team at Compass real estate. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge about the city of Chicago - from Logan Square to Andersonville and everything in between. As an investment property owner, Michelle knows first hand all of the steps of the home purchasing process, from the beginning search to the inspection, through to the close. It was in her many years as a leasing agent that Michelle honed her negotiating skills, successfully working with tenants and landlords. Her strong background in photography (BA from Columbia College, Chicago) gives her a keen eye for detail. Her ability to see the potential in all homes is a great asset to her clients.
The art of customer service comes naturally to Michelle, learned while bartending and refined while working as a leasing agent. The fact that Michelle has so many repeat clients is a testament to her incredible dedication and her willingness to devote time and attention to all of the details of a transaction. Michelle specializes in the Chicago neighborhoods of Logan Square, Wicker Park, Humboldt Park, Hermosa, Avondale, and Andersonville, and she is always willing to explore new neighborhoods. She lives in Andersonville with her carpenter fiance. She enjoys vintage clothing, live music, travel, camping and will want to pet every dog she sees!
