Miguel Chacón is an accomplished real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in Chicago’s residential and investment real estate markets. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied political science, urban studies, and land economics, Miguel brings a unique combination of market knowledge, investment expertise, and strategic insight to every transaction.

Specializing in residential and investment sales, multifamily properties, real estate development, and landlord and tenant representation, Miguel works with buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Known for identifying opportunities where others see challenges, he has successfully repositioned investment properties, developed strategies to maximize property values, and helped clients navigate complex real estate transactions. As an active investor and developer, Miguel also owns and manages a portfolio of properties throughout Chicago, with a particular focus on emerging communities.

Recognized locally and nationally for his real estate expertise, Miguel has appeared on Fox & Friends and major Chicago television networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and WGN. He also serves as an in-studio real estate contributor for Telemundo Chicago, providing Spanish-language analysis of local and national real estate markets. His insights have been featured in numerous publications, and his opinion articles on housing and real estate policy have appeared in the Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business.

Beyond his work in brokerage and investment, Miguel is a respected industry leader and passionate advocate for expanding housing opportunities and strengthening Chicago's neighborhoods. He has testified before the Chicago City Council as a subject matter expert on Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) legislation and has consistently advocated for policies that encourage responsible development, preserve naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH), and expand housing opportunities for Chicago residents. In recognition of his leadership and advocacy, Miguel is the recipient of the 2026 Political Advocacy Award from the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Miguel has held numerous leadership positions within the real estate industry. He serves as a 2026–2027 Director of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Chair of its Public Policy Committee, and a Board Member of the Neighborhood Building Owners Alliance(NBOA). His previous leadership roles include Chair of the Latino Real Estate Investors Council (LREIC), Director of NBOA's Political Advocacy Committee, and Chicago Director of ICSC's Real Estate Associates Program(REAP), an initiative dedicated to expanding professional opportunities and representation within the commercial real estate industry.

A lifelong Chicagoan, Miguel has a deep appreciation for the city's rich history, architecture, and diverse neighborhoods. He lives with his wife and three children in Chicago's historic Pilsen community, where his family has made their home in a converted Catholic convent. His lifelong connection to Chicago continues to shape his approach to real estate, combining a passion for architecture and thoughtful development with a commitment to helping individuals, families, and investors build lasting value in the communities they call home.
