Taking a transformative approach, Mike Cooke redefined what it means to be a real estate agent. After growing up with strong roots in California and Texas, he conquered the academic world with dual degrees from TCU and Vanderbilt. It led to a 13-year career as an environmental engineer. Mike defied career tests in the mid-1980s that warned him to avoid a career in sales. He became an agent, driven by the conviction that home buyers and sellers wanted a trusted consultant rather than a mere salesperson.
Mike’s innovative approach combined an engineer’s attention to detail and love of process with a consultant’s mindset to guide people through the complex selling and buying process. It quickly established him as a trusted real estate advisor. Mike set aside work for his own clients for a few years in the 2010s to focus on professional development of the company’s 100+ agents. Being the go-to problem solver for agents on more than 7,000 transactions, Mike learned how to resolve any challenge, glitch or snag that can arise in a real estate deal.
Recently, Mike switched his focus back to doing transactions for his own clients. When not orchestrating real estate success stories, you may find him scaling Colorado’s majestic 14ers, engaging subjects like astronomy and politics, playing country tunes on his guitar or watching movies where the good guys prevail against overwhelming odds.
