"I became acquainted with Mike through my neighbor. She described him as a realtor who was experienced, highly professional, a great problem-solver, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve the seller’s goals. She could not have been more right. I had just gotten out of the hospital after a 5- week stay when I hired Mike. Throughout my recovery, I asked Mike to speak on my behalf, which he did very well. I was able then to focus on my health and trust that the sale of my home was in good hands. Mike helped me to orchestrate preparation of a move from my home of 47 years to a senior living community, problem-solve the move, put my home on the market and sell it within a twelve-week-period of time. This was not free of challenges. During this time, I discovered that my solar system did not meet city code. This could easily have caused us to lose buyers; however, through dogged determination, Mike kept this project on track. Mike also plowed through several other specific requests of the potential buyers and always advocated in my best interests. Mike is a master of communicating and of coordinating that communication. He insisted that the solar company, the City of Austin, Austin Energy, Austin Title, the buyers’ realtor and me were copied on all email communication. He always consulted me before moving ahead, provided me with good, sound advice and advocated for me throughout the process. "I worked with Mike Easter to purchase a home in the Austin area. I CANNOT recommend Mike enough. His tireless efforts, non-stop looking, making sure that I got exactly what I was looking for, and going so over and above through the entire process... I honestly cannot explain how excellent, attentive, and helpful Mike was while buying this home. I was buying from out of state, Mike did all the legwork, took pictures, did a walkthrough with video, he even did my contractor inspection for contractor errors (not my home inspection, but, like, the drywall isn't painted correctly, the window fits badly, this corner is damaged, etc.), and did the final inspection to ensure everything he identified was fixed. I had a few things that I wanted complete prior to arriving at my new home, he provided multiple options and researched options outside of people he normally used just so I had as many options as possible and I didn't feel like I was being railroaded into his recommendations. Honestly, I don't know about the rest of Realty Austin, but I do know about Mike. This is the second time I have used him. The first time, I didn't purchase or end up using him at all, even though he was just as helpful then.
