 Mimi is rare among real estate agents in how she listens and learns her clients home search priorities and nuanced preferences, and then quickly finds several great options. I believe she is unique, however, in how she combines high energy, a shared vision and detailed understanding of the complicated San Francisco home-buying process.

For our family, Mimi helped us find and buy a hidden gem of a home...twice!  She thread the needle between our sometimes conflicting priorities, introduced us to her deep network of affordable specialists, provided priceless advice, and helped us get to an offer. We were first time home buyers and needed a lot of hand holding. Mimi was incredibly patient with us, made sure we knew that her priority was finding a home for us that we love, no matter how long the process might take (and in this case it only took a few months!). Mimi Bruce was recommended to us by a relative. We could not have made a better choice for someone to handle the sale of a parent's home in Pacifica. She was immediately comfortable to be around. She took us through the difficult process of preparing the place for sale which included having trusted workers to remove debris, do painting and repairs and garden cleanup.

We were given the option of spending a bit to fix up the property or selling "as is" and her advice to do the work paid off in offers that exceeded our expectations. We were well compensated for that initial expenditure in our case.

All through the process, Mimi "held our hands" and carefully explained everything. She was always available promptly by email or phone call when we had questions. We cannot thank her enough for the assistance she has given throughout this difficult and often sad process of selling a home with so many memories. Mimi Bruce came to us with a suitcase full of credentials.  She was like our psychologist, easy to talk to, and if we needed her to hold our hands to soothe our anxiety, Mimi did it!  She was always truthful giving us positive solutions to problems that came up.  Because we had over forty years in our S.F. house we had  no clue about the Real Estate Market. Mimi had to educate us--She is a novel worth of knowledge on the subject.  She had sold houses in our neighborhood (Westwood Highlands), knew the community and what we could list our house to sell on the market.  When we needed any work done to get the ready she has a list of people that do good work and charge reasonable prices.  She didn't recommend anyone who she hadn't worked with before.  If it wasn't for Mimi, and her high energy I don't feel we would have made it through. On a scale of one to ten, Mimi is a ten!

Mimi handled the purchase of our condo in Pacific Heights back in 2002.  She never grew tired of showing us properties and worked assiduously on our behalf helping us negotiate the purchase. She knows real estate and the market better than anyone I have seen after having lived in San Francisco for 40 years.  We called upon Mimi again to sell our condo in 2015 when we relocated to New York.  She arranged staging, painting, minor repair work while getting it ready for the sale.  On the first weekend open house she showed the place to 85 prospective buyers; on the second weekend open house she showed the condo to another  85 people. The following day we had 5 offers.

We sold the place, within nine days of it going on the market, for $210,000 over asking price and for nearly double the original purchase price. Mimi worked tirelessly on our behalf and we consider her a good friend and would recommend her to anyone to be their real estate agent.
