About Mimi

Born in beautiful Santa Monica and raised in both Santa Monica and Brentwood, Mimi Stevens Torp is a true second-generation Southern California native with deep roots on the Westside. Having grown up in the community she now serves, attended local schools, and witnessed the area's incredible evolution over the years, Mimi brings clients a rare understanding of the neighborhoods, homes, and lifestyles that make the Westside so special.

Before launching her real estate career, Mimi built a strong foundation in business and finance, working in accounting at the J. Paul Getty Museum and later serving as
business manager for a Los Angeles interior design magazine. In 1987, she joined the
Jon Douglas Company, where she honed her expertise alongside some of the industry’s most seasoned professionals. Since then, Mimi has devoted nearly four decades to guiding buyers and sellers through the Westside real estate market, specializing in single family homes and condominiums from West Hollywood to Malibu.

Known for her warmth, integrity, and unwavering dedication to her clients, Mimi believes that real estate is about much more than buying and selling a home, it is about building lasting relationships and helping people through some of life's most meaningful transitions. Her thoughtful approach, persuasive communication, strong ability to negotiate advantageous client agreements, and deep market knowledge have earned her the trust of generations, with much of her business coming through referrals and repeat relationships.

Mimi is especially grateful and proud to have her daughter, Emily, join the family business. Emily brings not only the benefit of a lifetime of real estate knowledge and influence, but also a fresh perspective, youthful energy, and a natural understanding of social media—qualities that add so much to the business and help carry the family legacy forward.

Beyond real estate, Mimi has always been passionate about giving back to the
community she loves. She has been actively involved with organizations including
Beagle Freedom Project, the Westside Food Bank, Fore Women, the American Cancer Society. She also co- created Environ Medals, an award-winning program that encourages children to make environmentally conscious choices. Mimi and her
husband and business partner, Jon, live in Mar Vista with their rescue Beagle mix,
Benji.
