Mitar Prentic

Mitar and his team led by award-winning broker Avi Alkotzer focus on sales and rentals in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island City. His goal is to provide exceptional and memorable service to his clientele, exercising keen communication, organization and multitasking skills to make their transactions smooth and their service experience rewarding.

A quick thinker with an analytical mind and problem-solver mentality, Mitar is very committed to every client’s success. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Mitar has lived in Astoria, Queens for over 12 years and worked in the West Village just as long. Prior to real estate, he was in hospitality as a lead bartender in one of the most recognized cocktail bars in the world, then became a restaurant owner/operator for several years.

Mitar earned an Associate’s degree, Economist in Tourism at Visoka Turisticka Skola, and a Bachelor’s in International Business from Megatrend University, both in Belgrade. He is extremely interpersonal, has an eye for interior design and architecture, and owns a rental property, all of which fuel his passion for real estate.

On the personal side, Mitar lives with his girlfriend and loves spending time with their adorable Australian shepherd dog. Having played volleyball professionally in Belgrade, he still loves the sport, as does basketball. Travel, cooking and creating cocktails are among his other pleasures.
