"We lived in our home for nearly forty years and initially purchased the limestone as adventurous young urban pioneers. With much passion and sweat equity we painstakingly removed paint from the woodwork to discover beautiful woods- tiger oak, mahogany, teak, wall paneling and honey cone-shaped wood ceiling beams, and original oak parquet floors under musty carpeting.

More recently as empty nesters, we found ourselves as occupants in the spaciousness of a four story limestone where nearly every inch had a connection to memories and events of our lives as well as the progression of our family. So the decision to downsize and to sell our home was not without trepidation and a sense of uneasiness about letting go of not just our home, but a cauldron of firsts, celebrations, laughter, security, and comfort.
