Born in New York City, Muriel Paton’s passion for real estate began at a young age. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the industry, she grew up watching the power of real estate investment firsthand. Her father, a Brazilian immigrant, began investing in real estate in the early 1990s and now has a thriving career in new home construction in St. Lucie County. Inspired by her family’s success, Muriel knew she wanted to build a career in real estate. Wanting to be closer to her loved ones and explore new opportunities, she made the move to Florida and obtained her Florida Real Estate License.

In 2023, Muriel joined the award-winning Meyer Lucas Team at Compass, a nationally recognized top-producing team known for its market expertise, strategic negotiation skills, and client-first approach. Drawn to the team’s dynamic culture and high standards of excellence, she immediately knew it was the right fit. In 2024, she was promoted to Senior Agent, a title earned through her unwavering dedication, strong client relationships, and commitment to excellence. She has expanded her professional expertise by earning the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) designations. The ABR® recognizes her specialized skills when guiding buyers through the purchase process, while the RENE designation highlights her advanced negotiation training, allowing her to advocate confidently and strategically on behalf of her clients.

Muriel brings over a decade of experience as a real estate agent, landlord, property manager, and investor. Her academic background, with a double major in Psychology and Communication from Rutgers University, gives her a unique ability to understand her clients’ needs and communicate clearly, ensuring a seamless and personalized real estate experience.
