About Myles
Myles Starr grew up on the Upper West Side, studied Economics in college, and went on to earn his MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Today, he lives downtown and works throughout New York City as a real estate salesperson with the Lewin Rubin Team at Compass.

Before entering real estate, Myles spent years in the fine art world, where he founded Louis Reed Gallery. Alongside his work in art, he built a career crafting communications for Disney, Moderna, and Toyota.

His unusual career path gave him a visual and analytical skill set that allows him to provide exceptional service to his clients. He has an eye for details most people walk right past—such as how light moves through a room or how a layout actually feels to live in compared with how it looks in photos. Furthermore, he can tell a property’s story in a way that resonates with the right buyer.

Myles aims to educate his clients, not persuade them. For buyers, that means reviewing relevant comparable sales and being upfront about market conditions. For sellers, it means developing a pricing strategy backed by current data and providing honest guidance on presentation. Most importantly, he treats every concern with seriousness and care. Buying or selling a home is never just a transaction; it is a significant decision in which emotion, lifestyle, and vision must be considered as carefully as price and location.

Outside of work, Myles can usually be found on a tennis court or searching for the city’s best cacio e pepe.
