Nancy Shen

Sharp, insightful, analytical, warm, empathetic - these are the qualities used to describe Nancy by her clients. Owning a home is part of the American dream; and helping people find the right one is Nancy's dream. Over ten years ago, as Nancy was still working as a supply chain program manager in Fortunate 500 technology company, she discovered her passion in the real estate industry by founding her own real estate investment company. Nancy helped many investors buy and sell over 40 properties that resulted in high profit margins. Her strong background in finance, cost optimization, risk analysis, supplier management and contract negotiations enables her to make the best recommendations for her clients.  

After 11 years of success in real estate investment and property management, Nancy decided to join Compass and became a full time real estate professional. Within one year, she executed over $10M+ of transactions and started building her own team. "This is not just about a career, this is where I find my passion." Her expertise includes commercial and residential buy/sell, lease, investment, and property management. 

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys reading, music, gardening, cooking, and voluntarily coaching basketball and karate at her kids’ school. She was a double champion in the Northern California Karate Tournament (Kata and Kumite /Free sparring). In college, she was a member of the Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA) and won 3rd place in the national university basketball tournament, where she played as a shooting guard.
