About Nathan
Chip Gardner, fourth-generation real estate broker, and Herbert Dubuisson, second-generation real estate broker, are two of the most successful and well-known real estate professionals in the region. Each holds over 20 years of experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry with over a thousand successful transactions for their clients across Greater New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Their expansive geographical service area is reflective of the dedicated service to the communities their families have served for a combined 128 years. In Louisiana the service area includes all of Greater New Orleans, the North and South shores of Lake Pontchartrain. In Mississippi the service area includes all the towns, cities and counties along the Gulf Coast from the Louisiana to the Alabama state lines. In order to successfully cover this territory and continue the long tradition of service excellence, it requires the serious effort of an effective collective. Shortly after their transition back into full-time client service, Gardner and Dubuisson hired a Client Support Specialist to ensure service excellence and smooth transaction management for every client on every transaction. The next addition to Gardner and Dubuisson’s collective effort was to add one, consistent source of assistance with client representation. The duo offered that opportunity to Latter & Blum REALTORĀ®, Nathan McCartney. Nathan will assist Gardner and Dubuisson, at various levels, in client service in both Louisiana and Mississippi. McCartney is dedicated to hard work, a desire to offer excellent service and a passion to help you in achieving your real estate goals.

Nathan McCartney is passionate about his home - South Louisiana and he’s spent a significant amount of time and energy trying to get back home for the majority of his adult life. Born in Central Louisiana, Nathan moved to Mandeville with his family as a young child. He attended Fontainebleau High School where he played football and basketball then started his career in food service immediately after high school. His dedication to professionalism and providing high levels of service, quickly led him to leadership roles in restaurant organizations with some of the most recognized names in the United States. In 2019 McCartney was named a General Manager for the Krispy Kreme organization and began overseeing operations in the Pensacola, Florida market. McCartney met his former wife in Pensacola and they share two children, Noah, and Charlotte. In 2023 life led Nathan and his young children home to be closer to his family. Nathan accepted the invitation to join the real estate collective his brother-in-law, Herbert Dubuisson and his business partner, Chip Gardner formed two years earlier. The opportunity offered McCartney the chance to give Noah and Charlotte the Louisiana lifestyle he so appreciates and for his career to be centered around something he has become passionate about: helping people find the place they’ll love calling home. Nathan is licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi and is a member of the National Association of REALTORSĀ®, Louisiana and Mississippi REALTORSĀ®, NABOR, Gulf Coast Association of REALTORSĀ® and Multiple Listing Systems in both states. In September of 2023 Nathan completed the rigorous requirements of a Ninja Selling Installation - the client centric, relationship based system for real estate success. . Outside of real estate Nathan enjoys spending time with his kids, tailgating, watching LSU football and cooking. He lives with his two children in Covington and dedicates time and resources to spreading hope through the New Orleans Mission.
