About Nicholas
Nicholas Dorcon is a real estate advisor with Compass serving the Washington, DC metro area and select clients nationally. Over 20 years in real estate, he has represented more than $400 million in residential transactions, specializing in individuals and families who value discretion and working closely with their advisors, attorneys, and family office teams.  

Nicholas began his career in education as a Middle School Counselor and then Dean of Students, experience that taught him to listen before he advises. He entered real estate in 2006 with Coldwell Banker, spent several years in Long & Foster's commercial division working on office building acquisitions, net lease investments, and retail land development and also worked in business development, analyzing professional practices across the U.S. and Canada to improve their business operations, marketing and profitability. He joined Compass in 2017.
