Nick P. Anderson

Nick was born in Minneapolis and spent his childhood between there and Chicago. Living in historically significant homes growing up, Nick’s love of houses started at an early age. He developed a passion for spaces that invoke emotion, and it ultimately led him to Miami University to study architecture and real estate. Nick moved to California after graduation and spent several years working in architecture on single family homes and multi-family developments, as well as large scale entertainment projects for Walt Disney Imagineering. His background in architecture, design and construction management gives Nick a strong appreciation for detail and well-designed spaces.

After the design side of homes, he decided to switch gears into the sales side and started working with clients in San Francisco as a real estate agent. Years of experience in that fast-paced real estate market gives him a thorough understanding of how competitive markets work, including agent negotiations, bidding wars and making sure clients are fully educated to make quick and confident decisions. He’s also had the opportunity to work with many first-time home buyers, and it is something that he specializes in. Following his time in California, he brought his real estate expertise and eye for design to Denver where he continues to work with buyers and sellers at Compass.

Nick is always ready to work hard and use his network of resources to make home ownership both a reality and a pleasant experience. “Patient”, “responsive” and “thorough” are words that clients have used to describe him. Nick has closed over $43.2M in home transactions, representing both sellers and buyers. His unique background and extensive real estate experience bring a fresh and resourceful approach to buying or selling your home.

On a personal level, Nick has been fortunate to have traveled to nearly every continent, living in Australia, studying building practices in Ghana, designing resorts in South Korea and traveling through France, Mexico, Fiji, Canada, Iceland and Argentina. He also has a strong passion for our National Parks and is trying to get to all of them. When he’s not working, you can find Nick hiking, camping, snowboarding, playing soccer, doing photography or exploring the cultural events in Colorado.
