Nisat Begum

Nisat Begum is a Brooklyn native first generation, of Bangladeshi immigrants. Growing up between Park Slope, Clinton Hill and Bedford-Stuyvesant Nisat is a well rounded New Yorker. Begum’s background and experience in marketing and international business from Stony Brook University has informed her pursuit and passions. She’s a life time advocate of her community whether it be her long term family business of Playground, performance arts career and now helping her ideal client find their dream home.

Begum comes from a lineage of small businesses. From her parents former hardware and tool rental business and now being one of the co-founders of Playground. Serving coffee, wine and books in the same Clinton Hill brick and mortar. Playground serves as a strong foundation in Begum’s trajectory allowing for cultural knowledge and strategy in her serving her patrons in the last decade.

A scholar of the arts, Nisat Begum is a graduate of dance, instrumental music and theater. Starting young, her time in the arts have allowed her to travel all over the city and beyond. These projects are a conduit to how Nisat is able to anchor herself and be knowledgeable about the city she is from. Nisat’s visual aesthetic and well rounded perspective makes her the perfect candidate for her client and the smile on her face will bring ease and comfort before they take the next step. As a resident of Brooklyn today, Nisat’s interest include traveling the world, spending time walking in her backyard Prospect Park and raising her cat Luna.
