About Boris Sharapan
Clients appreciate his vast knowledge and powerful negotiation skills. He has the expertise of an “inside man” in a market that can often be quite challenging. Boris is highly passionate about his work, whether you are a seller, buyer, lessee, or lessor. He seeks to build strong, lasting relationships with every client he represents, to set their mind at ease, and ensure the results they deserve. He is a consummate professional. After graduating college, Boris attended Pace University School of Law. He started his legal career at the prestigious law firm of White & Case where he negotiated various contracts for Fortune 500 companies in the technology, financial, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as celebrities and athletes. As an attorney, Boris has honed a unique set of skills that complement his real estate practice. Effective negotiating, bringing various parties together to get a deal done, and ensuring that all parties are communicating are all skills that he has mastered during his successful career as an attorney. He applies the same level of professionalism and attention to detail to every client transaction. He truly cares.
Customers are given his full attention to ensure that their real estate transaction runs as smoothly as possible. He also understands the stress associated with buying or selling a property. Customers appreciate his calm and professional demeanor, while taking comfort in his expertise in every aspect of a real estate transaction. Boris is a firm believer in building long-lasting relationships. He works tirelessly to provide his clients with the utmost professionalism and expertise and some fun laughs whenever possible. This type of mindset is what keeps his customers coming back to him for all of their real estate needs. Real estate is in Boris’s blood. As the son of a top real estate broker in Brooklyn, Boris wasted no time joining the family business and obtained a real estate license at the young age of 18. The summer before starting his freshman year at the University of Richmond, Boris was determined to be the top agent at his father’s Brooklyn office. After only two months on the job, he was the top-producing agent. Through meticulous research and networking, Boris built a book of business that included supers, landlords, management companies, and interested tenants.
Boris loves the challenge of New York City’s competitive real estate market. What he loves even more is getting to know his clients and building a strong, trusting relationship, which he believes is crucial when helping someone buy or sell their most important asset. He is persistent. While most people give up when told “no,” Boris thrives under these circumstances. If there is a property his client wants to buy, sell, or rent, Boris will work relentlessly to get the most optimal results. Sellers are often surprised to see that Boris continues to market and show a property after an offer is accepted. His philosophy is simple: until a contract is signed he will continue to work for your best interests to ensure there are plenty of back-up offers available.
He is creative. Boris does not believe in the status quo. Breaking the mold is what he prides himself on. Whether it is the marketing of a property that his client is trying to sell or finding a unique property for one of his buyers, Boris constantly crafts new methods to achieve the most optimal results. Boris is the broker specialist at The Charleston condominium in Murray Hill, and an owner there as well.
When he’s not busy selling real estate, Boris is an avid volleyball player, and a travel enthusiast who enjoys exploring new places and cuisines.
