Bruce understands that property transactions go part and parcel with life's passages, and the challenges one faces during them. He enjoys working with singles, couples and families going through those transitions, and credits his success to a mix of mature life experience and community outreach to intimately know many local neighborhoods throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Bruce came to the world of real estate a decade ago after a thriving career as an advertising executive in Manhattan's Flatiron District marketing diverse business and consumer goods and services. He draws on his marketing expertise and creativity, along with his partners “R-Team”, to help clients achieve their unique real estate goals, whether it be home ownership, a rental, or to sell a prized property.
Bruce is actively involved in the Audubon Park Historic District of Washington Heights, as a popular realtor, a gratified resident, a former board member of his co-op, and a committed community advocate on Community Board 12.
Bruce and his wife Lynne live at The Grinnell, in a wonderful pre-war cooperative apartment which they totally renovated. They are both active members of their co-op, various community organizations, and the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) Upper Manhattan Group. They sometimes escape to their bungalow on the North Fork of Long Island.
Bruce, a former Peace Corps Volunteer, has done pro-bono work for various non-profit organizations throughout the years, including City Harvest and Achilles Track International.
Client TestimonialsThank you for being our real estate sherpa! You witnessed the transition of me looking for a place for one to a home for two, married in the interim. We’re grateful to have your support & wisdom on this journey. Especially during our renovation challenges. - Soo Y. & Andy, Buyer
I have bought and sold over 30 properties, 10 at 790 Riverside, and can honestly say I have never seen the likes of Bruce & Lynne. They know the market inside and out and work tirelessly. They got me top market value and aided me every step of the way: strategizing, marketing, fixing, cleaning, moving, and very importantly, staging. Call me about why they’re terrific! - Robert L., Seller
Don't ever forget that Darryl and I have a happy and grateful memory of all our dealings together. All good things. -James F. & Darryl P., Buyer & Seller
It is very possible Bruce is the best broker in NYC? His marketing was creative and gave us results beyond hope. He is smart, likable, determined, and does not take the trust you place in him casually. Highest recommendation! - Tom A. & Cristine M., Seller
Thank you for your professionalism and persistence in selling our apartment in the Riviera. It was ideal that you really understood neighborhood dynamics and you made the experience a relatively painless process. When buyer financing issues arose, you were patient and reassuring. As for the neighborhood itself, Audubon Park is the best bargain in NYC. We’re sorry to leave. - Karen & Jim J., MD, Seller
I couldn’t have navigated the realities of buying without you; the uncompromising reality check, rude wake-up call, continuum of personal sorting and shifting, and trying to comprehend the immensity of Gotham. You were a god send! - Reverend Jo C., Buyer
