About Danny

Born and raised in Westchester County, Danny Sayegh offers clients a lifelong familiarity with the city, a resourceful personality, and a deep passion for helping people. His real estate work is aided by the knowledge and experience that comes from being a founding member and principal agent of The Dyksterhouse Team. Danny has been instrumental in creating and building the team while at the same time focusing on his own successful residential sales portfolio.
Prior to real estate, Danny quickly rose through the medical field ranks at New York Presbytarian Columbia & Weill Cornell, from patient care to ultimately serving as director of several departments. In this career, he honed not only his ability to connect with people, but also to build consensus, navigate complex processes and overcome obstacles, all with a cool, calm demeanor. "Whether my customer is a patient or a client looking to settle in a new home, at the end of the day, it's the smile on their face that I most look forward to," he says.
The Covid-19 pandemic was a challenge for all of us in NYC. Danny rose to the occasion at the height of the pandemic in the spring of 2020. During NYC's darkest moments with lockdowns in place, the real estate industry put on hold, and where only essential workers were permitted to leave their homes, Danny selflessly returned to his Respiratory Therapy roots and went back to work in the COVID ICU at New York Presbyterian Columbia Hospital during the worst months of the pandemic.
Danny holds bachelor's degrees in Biology and Respiratory Therapy from Stony Brook University, and a master's in Public Administration from Marist College. He resides in the exciting Hell's Kitchen area and in his free time, he enjoys working out, cooking, interior design and New York City's exciting theater scene just outside his front door. In his spare time, Danny is a proud volunteer with Food Bank For New York City.
