Esther Patten

With 14 years of experience in the business, Esther is an expert in all types of real estate transactions throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, including condominium and co-op sales, multi-family investments, new developments and residential leasing. Esther has formed strong relationships with investors, developers, buyers and sellers throughout the city which allow her to conduct her business almost entirely through referrals.  In 2024, Esther partnered with her husband Justin Rubinstein, a 19 year veteran agent, to build the J.Rubinstein team.  Together Justin and Esther have successfully negotiated over $1B in real estate transactions and would be thrilled to work with you.

Esther has successfully transacted throughout the city from Hamilton Heights to the Upper East Side to Greenwich Village to Bed Stuy and everywhere in between. With a dynamic track record of success and excellent communication skills, Esther's clients are constantly singing her praises. Esther consistently outperforms the competition and has set multiple building and neighborhood records including shattering the record for the most expensive Bedford Stuyvesant townhouse which was located at 1 Verona Place. When representing sellers, Esther combines her precise market knowledge and unique marketing techniques ensuring a targeted approach to finding the right buyer, effecting a seamless transaction at the maximum price. She is tenacious yet calm, listening to her client’s needs and executing until the deal is done.

As the owner of 4 multi-family investment properties in Brooklyn, Esther knows the ins and outs of being a landlord and can help you find the perfect investment property and then quickly find you the great tenant once you close. As a Northwestern University graduate and former Division I women's basketball player, Esther has become a resource for buyers and renters from the Chicago area. Esther continues to stay active and is passionate about fitness – attending GoldenHour Fitness and Dance 5-6 days a week and regularly taking Barry's Bootcamp. 

Esther currently resides in an awesome loft in Chelsea with her husband, daughter Sullivan, son Bear and Sheepadoodle McGruff!
