Isil has been quoted in Brick Underground "Where to Buy and Not in NYC" on good investments for new buyers
A former litigator, Isil brings focus and dedication to her clients across Manhattan & Brooklyn.
B.A. in Political Science from Yale University (2004); J.D. from University of Texas School of Law (2007).
Isil serves as Yale Class Secretary '04, Communication Chair for the Yale Alumni Association of NY, and a Regional Director for the Yale Day of Service.
Isil brings to residential sales the same qualities that defined her six years as a litigator: diligence, attention to detail, and thoughtful analysis and advice. An experienced project manager and fierce advocate for her clients, Isil provides seamless client service in navigating the intricate residential sales transaction process. Her steadfast commitment means nothing is overlooked and every deal is treated like bet-the-bank litigation.
Originally from Turkey, Isil moved to Texas at age 10 with her family, but her heart was always in New York. After earning a BA in Political Science from Yale University and a law degree from The University of Texas, Isil made New York her home. She spent several years living in Manhattan around Union Square and the West Village, before settling in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Her fascination with New York - its architecture and distinctive neighborhoods - inspired her to leave the law to help others make their homes in her adopted city.
Isil’s initial focus is on finding her clients the perfect home or investment property – whether that is a downtown loft, a prewar uptown, or new construction in Brooklyn. From this point, Isil determinedly drives the process from offer to closing by coordinating all aspects of the transaction. She works with a wide spectrum of real estate clients, from first-time home buyers to experienced investors. Her passion is contagious, and her deep knowledge of the market and different neighborhoods allows her to particularize the home-buying experience across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
It’s not all business though. Isil is also an ardent amateur interior designer and self-proclaimed DIY guru. Luckily, she is able to complete her messiest projects on her terrace, also home to two oft-used grills. In her spare time, Isil is devoted to strengthening Yale and its alumni community, whether organizing events, fundraising, or interviewing the new crop of applicants.
