Born and raised in Greenwich Village, Jay always had a passion for Shakespeare's works, which led him to England to study Shakespeare and theatre. Upon returning to New York, he chose to enter real estate after rediscovering his lifelong love of architecture and the city. It didn’t take long for Jay to excel: at Warburg Realty, he won the 2011 Rookie of the Year award and 2012 Fast Track award, before being named as the #3 top producing agent company-wide in 2013. He was also featured in Crain’s New York “10 brokers under age 30,” which highlights fast risers in a marketplace increasingly infused with technology.
Jay specializes in representing buyers and sellers of condos and co-ops throughout Manhattan. His clients include leaders in the technology and financial sectors, along with some of the city’s most successful young entrepreneurs. Most recently he represented a high-profile seller of a six-bedroom home at 271 Central Park West which sold in record time at the full asking price ($16.995MM). He has also represented buyers in a new development penthouse at 345 West 14th Street (sold for $6.775M), another penthouse in the West Village at 166 Bank Street (sold for $3.995M).
