New York City’s endless energy and incredible dynamism completely changed the way Jesse considers the world. Growing up in a small town on eastern Long Island, it wasn’t until his teenage years that Jesse discovered Manhattan was within reach by commuter rail, and before long he was hopping the train every chance he got. He spent his summers pounding the hot sidewalks as a messenger for his uncle’s printing company and seeing live music and comedy in the Village at night. There was no question about where to head upon graduation from a small liberal arts college upstate.
Jesse started as an underling at a popular cable network, working his way up in the rapid-fire world of television production. Creating television programming from scratch taught him the intrinsic worth of quick thinking, follow-through, and being both pragmatic and creative in his approach to challenges. It was totally fascinating work, but as he grew professionally, so did his thinking. Eventually, Jesse wanted to create his own thriving business from the ground up.
Turning his sights to real estate did not take much soul-searching. Because of his deep enthusiasm about Manhattan, it seemed only natural that Jesse should want to help others buy and sell their own slice of the Island. And over the course of fifteen years living in New York, he experienced many facets of the New York real estate market. Jesse has lived in nine different neighborhoods, three different boroughs, and picked up intimate knowledge of the city by roving it endlessly. Jesse learned how to size up property and move efficiently, and most importantly, he learned the value of what makes a home.
Now a husband, a father, and a homeowner in beautiful Brownstone Brooklyn, Jesse believes it is not only the property and location that makes a house a home, but the people in it.
