Maria is regarded as a highly respected and accomplished professional in the real estate community. Her passion for the business grew from purchasing and selling several of her own and friends’ apartments as well as investment properties along with serving on the board of her own co-op.
Formerly in Finance, Maria developed an instinctive understanding for both the financial and emotional aspects of real estate, which further fosters a piece of mind among her clients who know she will do everything in her power to either profitably sell their property or purchase their dream home. Her professionalism, attention to detail and business savvy form the ideal foundation for helping navigate clients through the emotional and financial process of buying and selling a home. She is highly adept at representing both buyers and sellers of all price sectors.
Originally from Brooklyn, Maria was raised in Westchester County, and has been living in Manhattan for many years. Having resided on both the Upper East and West Side, she serves clients in these neighborhoods and throughout the city with great passion and familiarity.
Maria studied at Pace University and Hunter College. Outside of work, she enjoys the theater, exercising, traveling and enjoying the city with her daughter.
“My experience with Maria Donadio was simply outstanding. Maria worked with me through the purchase of my new home and the sale of my existing home. To say she is warm, professional, and highly detail-oriented would be an understatement. Maria went above and beyond, and helped me find my dream home despite my very specific needs. She worked tirelessly with me for months, helping me with things that were nowhere near her job description, simply because she cares deeply about her clients on both a professional and personal level. I am extremely grateful for Maria’s expertise and patience, which helped me though a very stressful process. She was always there for me, all hours, any situation. She was an absolute pleasure to work with!”

"Having moved from Manhattan several years ago, I decided I needed a pied-a-terre when I visit the city. Maria listened to my wants and needs, and actually went to preview several places without me to facilitate the process. Her input was invaluable and when we walked into my new apartment, we both knew instantly, this was the one. As my primary residence is outside of Manhattan, she went above and beyond to make the whole co-op application process pretty effortless for me. Truthfully, we had fun searching and I am happy to say I made a new friend in the process."

"I spent a solid 1.5 years looking for the right apartment. During this time, I encountered numerous agents whose only agenda was to close the deal as quickly as possible. They would show me apartments and react offensively to any negative feedback. That was until I met Maria. Maria took the time to hear me out and listened to the requests I had. She sent listings within my price range and narrowed down the selection by making recommendations of the apartments she felt were the right fit. Never once did Maria push or pressure me into an apartment that wasn't right. Her patience and genuine care for my needs and my environment are critical elements to purchasing real estate, yet so rare in the field. She also handled any of the challenges that came our way, right up to the final close. Meeting Maria was a lucky twist of fate and working with her to find my apartment was one of the best decisions I could have made. I love my apartment more and more each day and have Maria to thank for so much of it."

"Maria sold our townhouse after our previous agent couldn't! Within the first week on the market, she found us an all-cash buyer. She displayed unparalleled professionalism throughout the process which became complicated with Department of Building issues. She was fantastic. We would and have recommended her to friends and neighbors."
"I purchased my apartment with Maria's help. Since I am not a US citizen, the process of purchasing a co-op in NYC was nearly impossible. Maria was able to negotiate on my behalf and convince my co-op board that I would be a responsible shareholder and excellent neighbor. I do not believe the purchase would have been completed without her attention to detail and determination. If you need a Real Estate Agent who won't take no for an answer, Maria is the one to hire!"
