We make selling your loft an art.
Together, Mark and Paddington represent sellers, buyers, and landlords throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. They share a passion for creative spaces and exceptional client service.
A TriBeCa resident for nearly thirty years, Paddington Matz moved to the neighborhood, married an architect, and designed, built, and sold seven lofts before becoming a broker. In her nearly two decade career, she has been named both Tribeca Broker of the Year and Listing Broker of the Year and has had the distinction of reselling her first loft on West Street five times.
Paddington’s partner Mark Blackwell came to real estate from the art world. With a background in client service at the major auction houses, he later co-founded a business that transformed lofts and storefronts into short-term art galleries.
Combining innovative thinking with detailed analysis, they employ a measured launch strategy which maximizes Compass’s unique tools: in particular, the Concierge program for preparing listings, and Coming Soon. They practice a full-service approach and offer their clients an immense list of referrals including everything from architects and attorneys to contractors and housekeepers.
