With a background in commercial real estate, New York City sales agent Michael Gigante has a keen understanding of property value and a methodical approach to assessing both resale and new construction property. Prior to joining Compass, Michael worked as an investment sales agent at Cushman & Wakefield where he underwrote hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of real estate across all asset types and represented property owners throughout the sales process. Today, he puts that vast expertise to work with a focus on multifamily, townhouse and condominium sales, with a specialty in the neighborhoods of North Brooklyn.
Prior to real estate, Michael worked at a fashion and lifestyle public relations agency in Manhattan, which he calls "professionalism boot camp" for its ability to forge networking, communication, organization and multitasking skills, simultaneously. Through his personal real estate endeavors, he saw a need for this well-honed skill set in the industry and he looks forward to bringing an elite level of professionalism and detail to every transaction.
Michael resides in East Williamsburg, which he loves for its old-world neighborhood feel and easy access to Bushwick, the north side of Williamsburg and downtown Manhattan. In his free time, he enjoys biking, running, weightlifting and skiing and exploring the many neighborhoods of New York City.
