About The Maison International Team

Launched over two decades ago during a chance meeting on a Trans-Siberian train trip through Mongolia and Russia, the Maison International Team has been uniquely inspired since its inception. For co-founders Elaine Comerford and Marie-Claire, the goal then was to connect passionate buyers with fine New York City homes, whether they were moving across the park or around the globe.

Fast-forward 25 years, and the Maison International Team has expanded from an apartment listing service run out of a tiny two-bedroom to a full-service residential real estate powerhouse serving everyone from multimillion-dollar investors and A-list celebrities of stage and screen to local first-time buyers and sellers. Despite their growth, the team's devotion to responsive, knowledgeable service and utter integrity and transparency has remain unchanged. And, as part of Compass, the group has enhanced its ability to leverage best-in-class technology and digital marketing in service of their clients' goals.
